Gusbourne creates bespoke sparkling wine for British Airways Club World
- Gusbourne, a Kent sparkling wine producer, launches Airbourne Reserve 2021 in British Airways Club World cabins from July 2026, a Pinot Noir-dominant wine chosen by Tim Jackson MW for its altitude performance.
- The listing continues Gusbourne's presence on British Airways; First Class currently receives Fifty One Degrees North 2016, while Club World previously served Sparkling Rosé 2019.
- Gusbourne now exports to more than 40 markets worldwide. Norway alone accounts for 40% of export volume, where the producer had no presence nine years ago.
- The bottle design references British aviation heritage with Airforce Blue labelling and a herringbone deboss inspired by Royal Air Force twill uniforms and the RAF roundel.
- Duncan Brown, Head of Exports and Travel Retail at Gusbourne, also sits on the Wine GB Export Council and frames airline distribution as a vehicle to promote English sparkling wine internationally.
